Intraspecific kleptoparasitism in the Tropical Kingbird (Tyrannus melancholicus)

Abstract: Kleptoparasitism is rarely reported in Tyrannid flycathers. At Caroni, Trinidad, I observed a Tropical Kingbird (Tyrannus melancholicus) successfully steal a large insect from a conspecific on 6 October.
