Abstract: House Sparrow (Passer domesticus) fledglings attended by the Yellow-shouldered Blackbird (Agelaius xanthomus)- On two occasions in 2002 we observed adults of Yellow-shouldered Blackbird (Agelaius xanthomus) feeding fledglings of House Sparrow (Passer domesticus). We investigate several ecological aspects that could explain the likelihood of these observations.

Keywords: Agelaius xanthomus, parasitism, Passer domesticus, Puerto Rico
